And while we're on the topic of Friday Night Lights...
Tonight’s episode was amazing; just like the season 1 episodes I’ve slowly been working my way through since receiving the set for Christmas. Heartbreaking, funny, smart and real. In a word, delicious.
So, it makes me sad when I read about Ben Silverman from NBC dancing around the issue of whether the show will live on or not. From Radar Online’s mini-interview:
“I love it. You love it. Unfortunately, no one watches it. That’s the thing with shows. People have to watch them. We’re NBC, we have a reputation to uphold.”
Ben, I hate to say it, but your highest rated show is ‘Deal or no Deal’ and your biggest debut this season was ‘American Gladiators’. So, while I appreciate your comments about reputation, I’ll be more inclined to listen when your biggest ad draw doesn’t include this guy hitting people with a giant q-tip.
